Pair Of Gilded Wood Cherub Lamps With 16thC Music Script Parchment Shades

A rare pair of 19thC Italian carved and gilded wood cherubs fitted with candle holders and now discretely wired as lamps; the accompanying shades are made from sheets of velum which display very early (16thC or 17thC) hand painted plain chant. As there is some moth damage and deterioration to the velum the shades are now encased in protective plastic.
